Breakout / Emergency Bi-Parting Door
The Ellickson Sliding door system can also be supplied with a break-out facility which allows users to push the doors open safely and easily in the event of an emergency situation. The wings and side panels are equipped with precision pivot fittings for safe and simple swing out to provide unrestricted full width egress and upon emergency completion, simply swing the leaves and click back into place and resume normal sliding operation with no reset required. The door is also ideal for when a temporary wide entry is required such as a car showroom where you want bring cars into the showroom but want the door to perform normally as pedestrian access. |
