Security System Interface
Wheel-Lok vehicle restraints can physically enhance security at a facility when linked with an active building security system. If an engaged restraint is tampered with, the building security system is notified and facility protocol is followed.
The Global Wheel-LokTM vehicle restraint is a surface mounted powered Wheel-Lok designed to secure virtually any trailer type to the dock. It engages the driver’s side rear tire with an integral 510 mm high steel barrier. Ability to resist pullout forces in excess of 14,200 kg (142 kN).
The GWL-2300 vehicle restraint is constructed of structural and formed steel. All structural components are metalized or painted for corrosion resistance. The drive system is a hydraulic cylinder powered by a 230-volt hydraulic power unit. The dual wheel guides are constructed of steel and painted safety yellow. Biodegradable hydraulic fluid.
